About Us
Backman Builders is a family-owned and operated custom builder based in Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges. Brothers Dean and Darryn have created a family-first approach to building your dream healthy home.
With a team of high-quality, reliable and friendly trades, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our high-end standard finishes. We love building relationships and our aim is to work with talented and like-minded people - our clients, trades, designers and architects!
We are members of Live Life Build, Sustainable Builders Alliance and Passive House Australia and we focus on building sustainable and healthy homes. We build all houses to extremely high energy efficiency, and we are passionate about homes that are incredible to look at, but also efficient and healthy living spaces.
Dean and Darryn put an emphasis on relationship building, communication and organisation, ensuring your project runs smoothly. We are passionate about collaborating to create a journey to creating a one-of-a-kind dream home.
Backman Builders is a Registered Building Practitioner and a proud member of HIA. We are not only your friendly builders but also drive each build with our combined experience of over 30 years of being qualified carpenters.
